Beta users have access to all available features of the Filmmaker Live Studio edition in a production environment to plan and pitch their films. The Beta program is a paid beta, where users are asked to give feedback, test new features, and help us improve the product in exchange for access to a really great product that makes their lives easier.

 

[return] What is the term for the Limited Access Beta?

The Filmmaker Live Limited Access Beta is 6 months. You get to use all available features, plenty of storage for whatever film you are creating, unlimited meetings and review time, for a small amount of cash and your feedback. All Limited Access Beta users will get a six month beta term regardless as to when we offer general availability of our entire suite of Filmmaker Live products. We need to hear from you, and we will be adding more capabilities for beta users as we finish them.

Those road construction signs on the freeway indicate potential rough spots; our beta could have some bumps as well.

We see Customer Value received as a great product, Our Value received is a nominal payment that shows you value our product PLUS your feedback on the product and experience. We see the exchange as a bargain for each of us.

We will do our best to give our customers great tools to be successful and give them our best support as well.

The complimentary second Filmmaker Live subscription is our way to help you work on your film as a team. During the beta, we are giving each paid subscription a second beta access license to give to someone on their team. You can invite others using Filmmaker Live to see or work on your project in shared sessions.

Simply give the person you select the complimentary subscription code, they input that subscription code when registering, and their beta access subscription will be free.

The subscription code (Free Subscription Code) for the free second beta access license can be found on your account details page. You must login to FilmmakerLive.com to see your account details page.

The Filmmaker Live app for Mac or PC can be downloaded from the Filmmaker Live website. Log In at the site and the installers can be found on the Your Account page.

Remember that Microsoft is always looking out for your interests, that’s why we love them.

Until a software application has 10,000 or so downloads, Microsoft provides lots of warning and barriers to downloading the software (except their beta products). The following are the Microsoft steps (hoops) to get to the software installer.

Subscription codes are codes for a subscription usually used by schools and larger organizations to distribute and manage Filmmaker Live subscriptions for their users. Subscription codes need be entered in the top box when registering for a Filmmaker Live account.

Users that have already registered cannot use the registration page and should contact Filmmaker Live at subscriptions@FilmmakerLive.com with their subscription code and we will start your subscription.

 

[return] How many devices can I access my Filmmaker Live subscription?

You can access Filmmaker Live from as many supported devices as you like. Each time you open Filmmaker Live, regardless of which device, your session will start right where you left off in your last session. If you access two devices using a single subscription, the displays with be mirror images.

[return] How long is the subscription term for Filmmaker Live?

Filmmaker Live is available in two models, subscription and long term license.

Filmmaker Live subscriptions are month to month, one month terms that renew until you stop your subscription. You can start and stop subscriptions at any time and will only be billed for those months. Filmmaker Live knows your projects can be cyclical, so we make it easy to ramp up and ramp down as your projects demand without requiring excessive or expensive commitments.

Filmmaker Live long term licenses provide access to Filmmaker Live and all upgrades for up to two years. Filmmaker Live long term licenses let you commit and plan your tool expenses while continuing to make the most of your time planning and making your film.

 

[return] What happens if my subscription lapses?

End of the project, no problem. We provide complementary archiving of any footage for you for terms that correspond to your subscription level. Re-subscribe anytime in your archive period or with the paid archive option and your footage will be there for you. To initiate a refund request for your software order, please contact us via our support contact forms:

Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days. Once the refund process is completed, Accelerated Pictures will disconnect access to our services for the license.

Accelerated Pictures provides the refund in the same manner used for the purchase. Credit card refunds are credited against the card used for the purchase. Purchase orders are issued a credit against the account balance.

Networks should have a ping response time below 200 ms (milliseconds) for optimal performance. It should be noted that as number of people accessing a network and types of uses of the network change, performance will also change accordingly.
